The most common new construction comfort problem is a system sized by guesswork and ductwork copied from the last floor plan. We size every system to the actual house: the load calculation, the window package, the orientation, the bonus room over the garage. That's the difference between a house that's comfortable everywhere and one with a room nobody uses in January.

New Construction FAQ
When should the HVAC contractor get involved?
Before rough-in, and ideally when the plans are still on paper. Duct runs, equipment location and venting all get easier and cheaper when they're planned instead of squeezed in around framing that's already up.
Do you work with builders or only homeowners?
Both. Builders get bid-ready quotes and a crew that keeps the schedule. Homeowners building custom get the same kitchen-table walkthrough we give on replacements.
Can you heat a pole barn or detached garage?
Yes. That's a common add-on to a build out here, and a mini split or unit heater sized right will keep a shop usable all winter.
What equipment do you install in new builds?
The same lineup as our replacements: high-efficiency gas and propane furnaces, A/C, cold-climate heat pumps, ductless mini splits and water heaters, with the Goodman 10-year parts warranty registered by us.
